Who We are
Shirley D. Xu
Shirley started her real estate investing in 2003 after working in corporate America for 10 years. She has extensive experience in property management, renovation and sales.
After many years actively involved in day to day residential real estate investing, she learned there is a better way to grow wealth through Passive Investment of real estates.
She is the founder of Golden Bridge Investment, a platform to educate people about passive investment and provide opportunities for ordinary people to invest in assets based investment.
She has been a passive investor herself and co-sponsor for several multifamily projects which consisted of a total 830 units and 12 facilities of self-storage. She has a MBA in finance. Her mission is to help more people achieve financial freedom through passive real estate investing.
David Thompson
David is the founder of Thompson Investing which provides investors opportunities to invest with experienced operators in apartments, self storage and manufactured home parks. As general partner and sponsor in syndication deals, he has raised significant private equity capital. He helped provide investor funds to purchase over 4500 apartment units worth over $400M. Current Thompson investing has strategic partners included Ashcroft Capital, Wildhorn Capital, Reliant Real Estate Management and Covemark Group.
David has strong experiences in real estate investing in both domestic and international projects covering single-family, multi-family and land development He earned his MBA in finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree from Arizona State University. David spent over 20 years in high-tech management positions at Dell, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. At Lucent he managed a $2.5B investment portfolio and raised over $1B in funds for acquisitions.
